I use a client-centered approach to work with the client on their specific requests, designing custom interventions based on what is needed. \nI have worked with First Nations Communities, international non-governmental organizations, B-Corps, and health-care organizations. \n

Mediation and Conflict Resolution<\/h3>

Conflict is a regular part of life, whether it\u2019s large or small scale. I believe that assisting people in conflict can help both parties come to better understandings of themselves and others and create more peace within their relationships. Katie started Katie Giddings Consulting about five years ago when the opportunity arose to develop a Leadership Program for a British NGO working in the Congo Basin.\u00a0 Katie has since worked with a variety of organizations such as enterprises, health care and non-governmental organizations and First Nations Communities.\u00a0 She has provided support in effective communications, team building, trust building, conflict management, leadership development, strategic goal development, vision and values alignment, and executive coaching.<\/p>

Katie holds a master\u2019s in organizational systems specializing in Organizational Development and Leadership from Saybrook University (Leadership Institute of Seattle), a certificate in Mediation, a post-graduate certificate in Eco-Tourism and Adventure Tourism Management and an undergrad in Social Sciences.\u00a0<\/p>

Before being introduced to Organizational Development, Katie\u00a0supervised teams in customer service and taught, facilitated and lead groups and teams while working as an outdoor guide and outdoor-experiential educator.<\/p>

Working with people’s whole selves, Katie facilitates getting to know our own true nature and to develop higher states of awareness that cultivate kindness towards ourselves, others, and the world around us.\u00a0 Katie’s work cultivates connections, builds trust within ourselves and with others and invites reflection.\u00a0 She strives to deepen our understanding of ourselves and each other and the systems we are a part of to create healthier, happier systems. She is excited to share her passions and continue learning, practicing, and developing in the process.<\/p>
